Awakening with Love with Henry Shukman

Henry Shukman, MA, is the Spiritual Director Emeritus of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a teacher in the Sanbo Zen lineage and has trained in various other meditation schools and practices. He has been authorized to teach Mindfulness by Shinzen Young and is a certified dreamwork therapist. Henry is author of several books, including Original Love: The Four Inns on the Path of Awakening, One Blade of Grass: Finding the Old Road of the Heart, a Zen Memoir, In Dr No’s Garden, and Mortimer of the Maghreb. He is a poet who has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He is cofounder of the The Way App. His website is henryshukman.com.

REBOOT: Realms of Non-Human Intelligence with Sean Esbjörn Hargens

Sean Esbjörn-Hargens, PhD, is Dean of Integral Education at the California Institute for Human Science and Program Director of the MA/PHD program in Integral Noetic Sciences which has an optional concentration in Anomalous Studies. He founded the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice. He has also authored or edited eight books including: Integral Ecology (co-authored with Michael E. Zimmerman), Metatheory for the Twenty-first Century (co-edited with Roy Bhaskar et al), and Dancing with Sophia (co-edited with Michael Schwartz). In 2018 he founded The Institute of Exo Studies which draws on over 50 disciplines to help make sense of anomalous and extraordinary experiences of our multiverse. Here he explains that non-human intelligence can be thought of as natural to the earth (faeries and elementals), from outer space (i.e., ETs), or from celestial realms (angels and devas). His “integral” approach involves taking into consideration the huge spectrum of possibilities as evidenced in the academic, esoteric, and UFOlogical literature. He maintains that no single approach is sufficient to capture the complexity of the phenomena.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.

After-Death Communication with Matthew McKay

CLASSIC REBOOT: Transitioning to Enlightenment with Jeffery Martin

Jeffery Martin, PhD, has recently assumed the presidency of the California Institute for Human Science. He is also the director of the Center for the Study of Non-Symbolic Consciousness. Portions of his research on power of thought and non-symbolic consciousness are also available in the popular Fourth Awakening series of novels, coauthored with Rod Pennington. He is also author of The God Formula and The Finders.

In this video conversation from 2020, he describes research outcomes relating to the attainment of persistent states of well-being. His innovative approach has been to design the online Finder’s Course, exposing students to a variety of approaches to attaining higher states of consciousness. Hundreds of students have gone through this program and have also been subjects in research studies designed to assess persistent states of well-being. His findings suggest that over 70% of participants were successful in this regard. He discusses how different stages in the enlightenment process are appropriate for individuals, depending on their life circumstances.

Consciousness Unveiled with Swami Sarvapriyananda

Swami Sarvapriyananda is the Minister and spiritual leader of the Vedanta Society of New York. Buddhist Schools of Thought with Gary Gach

Gary Gach is an adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco. He is author of The Idiot’s Guide to Buddhism as well as Pause, Breathe, Smile – Awakening Mindfulness When Meditation is Not Enough. He is cotranslator of three Korean books of poetry by Ko Un. He is editor of What Book!? Buddha Poems From Beat to Hiphop. He recently served as cotranslator for Hafiz’s Little Book of Life.

An Easy Way to Read Your Birth Chart with Alison Chester-Lambert

Alison Chester-Lambert, MA, has a master’s degree in cultural astronomy, astrology, and mythology. She was the founder of the UK`s Midlands School of Astrology and the former resident astrologer for a daily BBC TV news show. Alison is author of Starry Messengers, Future in the Stars, and The Easy Way to Learn Astrology: How to Read Your Birth Chart. She has also created Astrology Reading Cards and Greek Mythology Reading Cards. Her website is alisonchesterlambert.com.

Alison suggests that an easy way to understand your own astrological birth chart is to first learn the symbols and meaning of the zodiac signs and houses before adding in the planets. Exploring your birth chart can help you to understand your own psychology and live with greater meaning and purpose.

CLASSIC REBOOT: Scientist and Mystic Hiroshi Motoyama with Thomas Brophy

Thomas Brophy, PhD, is past-president of the California Institute of Human Science. He also serves as president of both the Institute of Noetic Sciences and the Society for Consciousness Studies. He is author of The Mechanism Demands a Mysticism: An Exploration of Spirit, Matter and Physics as well as The Origin Map: Discovery of a Prehistoric, Megalithic, Astrophysical Map and Sculpture of the Universe. He has also coauthored, two books with Robert Bauval titled Black Genesis: The Prehistoric Origins of Ancient Egypt and Imhotep the African: Architect of the Cosmos. In this interview from 2020 he describes the Japanese founder of the California Institute of Human Science, Hiroshi Motoyama (1925 – 2015) who was a parapsychologist, yogi, and Shinto priest. Motoyama is known for his studies related to the meridians of acupuncture as well as the chakras of yoga. He is the inventor of the Apparatus for Meridian Identification (AMI) device. He was an integral thinker who advocated the synthesis of modern science with the world’s spiritual traditions.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in parapsychology ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.
