Awakening with Love with Henry Shukman

Henry Shukman, MA, is the Spiritual Director Emeritus of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a teacher in the Sanbo Zen lineage and has trained in various other meditation schools and practices. He has been authorized to teach Mindfulness by Shinzen Young and is a certified dreamwork therapist. Henry is author of several books, including Original Love: The Four Inns on the Path of Awakening, One Blade of Grass: Finding the Old Road of the Heart, a Zen Memoir, In Dr No’s Garden, and Mortimer of the Maghreb. He is a poet who has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He is cofounder of the The Way App. His website is henryshukman.com.

Henry describes that the heart of life is the oneness of original love. He shares how we are all a hair’s breadth away from a vast boundless reality and how you can come home to yourself through the four inns on the path of awakening, that include: mindfulness meditation, support, absorption, a union with everything.
