The Unobstructed Way with Ronnie Pontiac

Ronnie Pontiac was the personal research assistant for Manly P. Hall at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. He is author of American Metaphysical Religion: Esoteric and Mystical Traditions of the New World. He is coauthor with Tamra Lucid of The Magic of the Orphic Hymns: A New Translation for the Modern Mystic.

Early in the twentieth century, Stewart Edward White was one of the most popular writers on spiritualist and metaphysical matters. Among his many books, The Betty Book and The Unobstructed Universe were best-sellers. These books were based upon metaphysical teaching provided by White’s wife, Betty, both while alive and after her death.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. He is Co-Director of Parapsychology Education at the California Institute for Human Science.

A Photojournalist Explores Protests with Amy Beth Katz

Photojournalist Amy Katz, MA, (twin sister of NTA guest host, Debra Lynne Katz) discusses her experiences documenting protests, starting with Occupy Wall Street in 2011. She has published photos and videos in various renowned publications and has attended protests such as the Women’s March, environmental demonstrations, and the George Floyd protests.

Amy Beth’s photos & stories have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, New York Daily News, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, the Guardian, China News, Time Magazine, Hello, Yes! The Voice SB, and over thirty other major news networks across the globe. She is also a professional intuitive coach and dream guide. She holds a M.A. in Communications, and has published several books of poetry.

Katz shares unique insights and perspectives often absent from mainstream media. She recounts her experience in Seattle’s CHOP Zone and discusses the darker elements of some protests, emphasizing that most were peaceful and focused on raising awareness about police brutality and discrimination.

Investigating Altered States of Consciousness with Rick Strassman

Rick Strassman, MD, is an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico. He is author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule — A Doctor’s Revolutionary Research Into the Biology of Near-Death and Mystical Experiences, Inner Paths to Outer Space: Journeys to Alien Worlds Through Psychedelics and Other Spiritual Technologies, and DMT and the Soul of Prophecy: a New Science of Spiritual Revelation in the Hebrew Bible. He has also authored a novel titled Joseph Levy Escapes Death. His newest book is My Altered States: A Doctor’s Extraordinary Account of Trauma, Psychedelics, and Spiritual Growth.

Here he reviews his life in terms of the many varied altered states of consciousness he experienced, starting with his infancy. His interpretation of these events is colored by his experiences as a psychedelic researcher, a psychoanalytic patient, and as a Buddhist meditator.

Introducing Our New Studio Sculptures with Joe Cajero
