Lyn Buchanan, MA, is the executive director of Problems – Solutions – Innovations, a corporation based in Alamogordo, New Mexico. For over eight years, he participated in the Army’s remote viewing program based at Fort Meade, Maryland. Peter B. Todd, MAPS, a psychotherapist with a Jungian orientation, is author of The Individuation of God: Integrating Science and Religion. He experienced clinical death, during cardiac surgery, in 2005, and was subsequently revived. He was also a gold medalist at the 1982 Gay Games in San Francisco.

Here he lists a number of anthropogenic threats to human survival on this planet, particularly nuclear war and global warming. He describes the situation in his home city of Sydney, Australia, concerning fires that have already cost the lives of half a billion animals and are enveloping the city in smoke. He argues that these problems can only be addressed by a resacralization of the world and a global process of individuation. We must be willing to confront the shadow side of humanity.

Walter von Lucadou created the Parapsychologische Beratungsstelle (parapsychological counseling office) in Freiburg, Germany, which had been for over thirty years supported as an official project by the state government of Baden-Württemberg. Kiran Kumar Salagame, PhD, is former chairman of the psychology department at the University of Mysore, India. He is also vice-president of the International Transpersonal Association. He is author of The Psychology of Meditation: A Contextual Approach.

Here he describes his research to investigate whether meditators experienced detrimental effects from their practice. He found that the meditators he studied showed unique, positive characteristics very different from a population of schizophrenics with whom they were compared. He distinguishes between the use of meditation to remove anxiety, depression and illness and its traditional, original purpose of self-realization. He discusses the yoga system of chakras.

James Tunney, LLM, is an Irish Barrister who has lectured on legal matters throughout the world. Of particular concern is the issue of governance and the protection of individual rights. He notes that various social movements have goals regarding the establishment of a global order under their jurisdiction. These include Catholicism, Islam, and Communism. The most dangerous competitor for world domination, and most likely to succeed, he believes, is scientism.

Here he describes his research in portions of the Sahara desert that are rarely explored where he encountered prehistoric, megalithic structures of astronomical significance, as well as rock paintings and inscriptions. He explains how these artifacts were created by the black population at a time when the area produced rains and had many animals. When the climate changed, he believes that these people migrated east and north and helped to create the culture of ancient Egypt.

Jason Reza Jorjani, PhD, is a philosopher and author of Prometheus and Atlas, World State of Emergency, Lovers of Sophia, Novel Folklore: The Blind Owl of Sadegh Hedayat, and Iranian Leviathan: A Monumental History of Mithra’s Abode.

Here he discusses the convergence of genetics, robotics, information, and nanotechnologies towards a singularity, beyond which we will enter a transhuman condition. These ideas are explored with a view to incorporate evidence from parapsychology and consciousness research. The discussion includes numerous examples from popular culture.
